I write speculative fiction, often humor/satire or disability-related. I am also editing a nonfiction anthology, Knowing Why: Adult-Diagnosed Autistic People on Life and Autism, funded by the Autistic Self Advocacy Network and planned for publication in late 2017.

My academic background is in information science (user experience research and design) and behavioral science (cultural/evolutionary and developmental psychology, social cognition, and cognitive anthropology).
I’ve worked as a project coordinator on the Reproducibility Project: Psychology, a data manager on various health and research projects at the University of California, San Francisco, a user interface design engineer intern at Jewelry Television, and a logistics management specialist and museum interpretive planner as part of a Presidential Management Fellowship.
